Add A Sticky/Fixed Widget in Sidebar WordPress

Adding a Sticky widget in sidebar of your wordpress blog will obviously gives more impression from the visitors than usual.  The widgets are in sight when you scroll the page up or down.

As it remains sticky in sidebar, these widget will be visible even if you scrolled down to the bottom of the page. Follow the below instructions to add a sticky widget in sidebar in WordPress.

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2: Select Plugins tab and click on Add New.

Step 3: You will see a list of plugins available there. Now search for ” Q2W3 Fixed Widget (Sticky Widget) ” by Max Bond. This is the sticky sidebar plugin wordpress.

Step 4: Now click on Install now. After installing activate the WordPress plugin.

For activating any widget as fixed, move to WordPress dashboard>> Appearance >> Widgets. Then click on any widget and tick fixed widget option.

If you write long posts and you only having less sidebar content, you can avoid the blank space created in sidebar by showing this widgets fixed when scrolling to down.

You can also set multiple widgets sticky on sidebar. All you have to do is just tick the fixed widget option.
